Sit up –Asante Akyem North MP tells Municipal Assembly

Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North Constituency, Lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi has admonished the leadership of the Asante Akyem North Municipality to sit up and work hard to address concerns of residents.

The MP blames the municipality for the majority of challenges that residents face. According to him, they must put in a lot of work to help in the development of the municipality.

The Member of Parliament who was on Salt FM’s Anopa Bosuo with Akwasi Boduah was responding to questions from callers who bemoaned several challenges that they are facing in the municipality.

Green Ghana Project

Hon Andy Appiah has expressed sadness over the failure of the municipal authorities to invite him to participate in the Green Ghana project in the Asante Akyem North municipality.

The lawyer said he hoped to have joined the august ceremony to commence the project but was never invited.
According him, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Asante Akyem North municipality did not see reason enough to invite him even though he had intentions of participating.

‘It saddened my heart the invitation never came, I expected Hon. Oti Boateng to send an invitation but it never came and I don’t know why. Inner city Afforestation has been part of my vision all this while so I am gathering some seedlings and very soon, we will initiate the inner-city afforestation.’ He added
