Dormaa based Aduana Stars player, Yahaya Mohamed Sabato has revealed his seriousness with training is the reason why he is on his super form.
The Tema youth product was in a scintillating form before the COVID-19 break, registering 11 goals in the 15 matches he played in the first round of the 2019/20 premier league season.
“No one can cheat nature. I’m in my 30’s now, but I play like I’m in my early 20’s. I started taking care of my body when I went to France”-he told Asante Akyem Agogo based Salt Fire Sports.
Sabato added: ” As a professional player, you have to be mindful about what you are taking in, and what you bring out of the body. Hard work and personal training has been my secret, I do my personal training before I join my team mates for Mass training”.
Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin hinted recently he is worried Yahaya’s form will dip, when the league resume.
Yahaya added he is 100% agree with the comment his trainer made.
” I agree with my coach”
” He adds a lot to my training, after my personal training, he adds his own tactics which was helping me”
” I don’t get the chance to learn from him again, because of the pandemic”.
Yahaya who made his maiden senior appearance for Tema Youth has since played for OGC Nice, Real Tamale United, Wa All Stars, Asante Kotoko, Amidaus , Murcielagos, Azam Fc and currently with Aduana Stars.
