Actress Moesha Boduong says Ghanaians owe her an apology for heavily criticizing her for her comments on CNN sometime ago.
According to Moesha, even though the interview was taken out of context and generalized, we continue to hear stories of ‘side chicks’ fighting each other over men in the news.
Speaking to Kwaku Manu, the actress said after she granted the interview, many Ghanaians refuted what she said about married men having side chicks and girlfriends but now it has become a trend.
For this reason, she believes Ghanaians owe her an apology for all they put her through after her interview with CNN.

Moesha in an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpuor in 2018 during a discussion on how “being a mistress is a financial decision,” that like many Ghanaian women, she dates a married man for her livelihood.
She explained that the reason these women date men with mistresses is because the economy in Ghana is hard.
“In Ghana our economy is such a way that you need someone to take care of you. You can’t make enough money as a woman here. Because even when you want to get an apartment, in Ghana they take two years’ advance and I just started working where will get money to pay?,”
