Video: Akufo-Addo booed off ‘Global Citizen Festival’ stage in Accra
President Nana Akufo Addo was booed at the Global Citizen Festival in Accra, Ghana when he took the stage to deliver his speech.
The show which brought a variety of A-list artists from around the world including Usher, John Legend, Sarkodie, Tems among others saw a a lot of people throng the Black Stars square to enjoy performances.
However, when it was the turn of President Akufo-Addo to address the crowed, something happened. The charged crowd started booing him. We believe this is largely because of the increasing inflation and high cost of living in the country.
