Following the confirmation a student of the University of Ghana has been infected with the COVID-19, management of the school has there suspended lectures.
The University of Ghana has also banned non-residential students from coming to the University of Ghana campus after one student tested positive for coronavirus.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu made this known in a public address to the University community on Radio Univers earlier today.
The Vice-chancellor further assured the University community of managment’s commitment to ensure the spread of the disease is contained.
He added, “the University has put in place, prevention, detection and quarantine measures which has already.”
