Leader of The Peoples Project, TPP, Kwame A Plus born Kwame Asare Obeng wants has said it’s iHealth Minister who has been tested positive for COVID-19 transferred to Dormaa Hospital. Reports available in the local media suggest that the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently receiving treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).
But OKAY FM’s Afia Pokuaa who spoke to him reported that “Spoke to the minister of health. He says he’s fine and doesn’t have COVID-19 but only needed rest and his usual medication”. Reacting to the story, Kwame A Plus in a post on social media sighted by MyNewsGh.com said since the Minister is from Dormaa and is also the Member of Parliament(MP) in the area, he needs to have a feel of how the healthcare system in the are is.
“He is MP for Dormaa, if he has COVID-19 why don’t you send him to Dormaa district hospital, the same hospital people who voted for him will go to when they test positive for the disease?”. He posted: Commenting on government’s resolve to keep the University of Ghana hospital closed prior to the invasion of COVID-19, A Plus said “Open the UGMC hospital for the general public you said no you won’t because Mahama built it. The ordinary people can die but you are there receiving treatment. Smh!!!”.
