Thomas Partey advised to leave Atletico Madrid for Arsenal
Black Stars defender Joseph Attamah Larweh has advised his team mate Thomas Partey to leave Atletico Madrid for Arsenal FC in the summer.
“I will be happy if he goes to Arsenal,” Attamah told Accra based Citi FM
Attamah who played with Partey at Tema Youth before they both went abroad said he will be excited to see Partey commanding the midfield of an English Premier League side.
“He has done it all at Atletico and is well known as one of their best players,”
“He has to move forward to a different league to prove his worth there as well,”
“He needs to let people know that he is capable of succeeding in other places and not just Spain.”
Attamah who plays for Turkish side Fatih Karagümrük on loan from Istanbul Basaksehir is a childhood friend to Partey.
Partey has been heavily linked with a move to the English premiership with Arsenal FC ready to activate his release clause to sign him this summer.
The Black Stars midfielder has a release clause of 50 million Euros with his contract with Atletico expiring in 2023.
