Election 2024

Akufo-Addo is destined for one term – Sammy Gyamfi reacts to NPP picking 1st slot on ballot

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) believes President Akufo-Addo is only meant to be a one-term president hence the reason why the NPP picked the first slot on the ballot paper.

The NDC’s candidate, John Mahama is also pegged at number two but according to Sammy Gyamfi, the party’s second position on the ballot paper signifies former President John Dramani Mahama’s return to power.

“John Mahama will be number two (2) on the ballot on 7th December, meaning God has ordained him, John Mahama for a second (2nd) term. President Akufo-Addo will be number (1) on the ballot, meaning that President Akufo-Addo is ordained for just one (1) term.” – he said in a tweet
