SPEECH BY SALT 95.9 FM CEO AT THE LAUNCH OF THE STATION IN AGOGO, JANUARY 3, 2020

It is with love and humility that I stand here leading the Salt Media GH Group, to join Nananom, dignitaries, guests and the good people of Asante Akyem Agogo to commission another remarkable epoch in Ghana’s media and communications industry.

We commend the chiefs and local government administrators, my father Smart Kwadwo Frimpong and grand mother Maame Ama Mansah both of blessed memory – Smart Emmanuel Kwadwo Frimpong,May the heavens continue to watch over them as they rest in peace. May the soul of uncle Candyman rest in peace, I appreciate their contributions towards the steady progress of Salt Media GH from day one.

A week before my father passed away in Chicago , he sent about $20,000 worth of equipments for the station.

The Salt Media brand has taken us years since it was first envisaged. A dream, by which we can open this naturally walled town for development.

Nananom, distinguished guests, dignitaries and all of us, are gathered here today to witness momentous manifestation of that dream, the unveiling of Salt 95.9 FM – a unit of the Salt Media GH Group.

I am elated to see this day, because , this is in line with the aim to improve upon the health, education and employment in Asante Akyem Agogo and beyond .

This is a project that has gone through different phases, and uncertainties but most importantly, with dedication and willpower we are here today.

To Salt 95.9 FM, I say we must not fail our people. We must be creative and innovative enough to achieve our set-out goals.

Nananom, Distinguished Dignitaries, Media, Ladies and Gentlemen, before I take a seat, I want to encourage businesses here to continue to seek maximum benefits for the people of Agogo and it’s environs.

I thank my mother , Grace Frimpong aka Ogrey Special , who is present here today , my entire family , both here and UK , my very close friends , some who travelled here today from various countries to see us here today to witness the unveiling of Salt 95.9 FM.

We are going to declare Salt 95.9 FM office duly commissioned today, by the grace of the Almighty God.
