Six footballers die in gory accident in the Ashanti Region

Six colts footballers have lost their lives in a gory accident in the Ashanti Region on their way back from Afrancho after their registration process for the upcoming colts league season.

The sudden incidence happened on Saturday, September 20, 2020 evening on the Offinso river when the thirty-six colts footballers were returning back from the exercise.

Six out of the thirty-six lost their lives in the accident according to an eyewitness report.

Meanwhile, four of the young footballers are currently in critical condition at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital with the remaining twenty-six receiving treatment at the St. Patrick Hospital in Offinso.
