Salt 95.9 FM has today donated food items to the Muslim community in Asante-Akyem Agogo ahead of the Ramadan celebrations which comes after the holy month – the month set aside for 30-days fasting for all Muslims.
The spiritual exercise commenced on Thursday, April 23, 2020, in the country amid the ban on all social gathering in the wake of the novel coronavirus – which means Muslims across the country will not congregate at various mosques for prayers. The exercise is expected to end on May 23, 2020.
The donation included Bags of rice, cartons of oil, boxes of Lipton and sugar.
This support underscores the relationship that the media outlet has with the Muslim community in Agogo.
