President Akufo-Addo lifts partial lockdown on Accra and Kumasi

President Akufo- Addo has said effective 1am Monday 20th April, the partial lockdown implemented three weeks ago will be lifted.

The president said this when he addressed the nation for the seventh time on measures put in place by government to prevent the spread of the virus.

The ban on social gatherings has however not being lifted.

The President added that the country’s borders will still remain close for additional 14 days.
