Photos: Hundreds trooped in to watch Champions League Final on Salt FM’s giant screen

Hundreds of football lovers throng the Agogo main lorry station to watch the UEFA Champions League finals on a giant screen.

The screen mounted by Salt FM brought together many people including Jama groups supporting the finalists, Chelsea and Manchester City. The atmosphere was charged with several voices chanting songs from all angles.

There was an ecstatic feeling as Chelsea took the lead against Man city in the first half through Kai Havertz.

The transportation system in Agogo came to a halt as many of the riders of Pragia the main means of transport in the town parked and decided to join the occasion.

It was all merry and cheers as the Salt Fire Sports team led by Dennis Yaw Asamoah aka Alatura gave excellent commentary of the game mingled with fun whilst the sports pundits also did excellent analysis of the game.

Hot Bofrot Puff puff was also served at the grounds.

The game ended 1:0 in favour of Chelsea and it’s the second champions league trophy for the North London club who first won it in 2012 when they beat Bayern Munich in penalties.

The UEFA Champions League is an annual club football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations and contested by top-division European clubs, deciding the competition winners through a round robin group stage to qualify for a double-legged knockout format, and a single leg final.
