Veteran highlife artist, Amakye Dede has been introduced a boss at Agogo in the Asante Akim North Municipal region of the Ashanti Region.
A privileged chieftaincy title was given on the artist on New Year’s Day, January 1.
The title was given on him by the Omanhene of Asante Akim Agogo, Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong.
The Iron Boy hit vocalist was given the stool name Berima Okyeredom Amakye Dede I.
As indicated by the Agogohene, they gave the title on Amakye Dede in light of the fact that he is a group puller and uncommon artist who has won various awards for himself and Agogo.
Amakye Dede in his acknowledgment discourse stated: “I need to guarantee nananom that I will consider my duty important and I will do everything to maintain the pride of this office and I won’t let you down in any endeavors.”
Conceived on January 5, 1958 in Agogo, Asante Akim, Amakye Dede went to Agogo Roman School.
