Otumfuo sets target for new Asante Kotoko Board
Asante Kotoko owner and life patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has set a target for the club’s newly Board of Directors.
The Asantehene has charged the newly formed nine-member Board Members to rebuild the Asante Kotoko brand and make it an elite standard in Africa.
“Make the club competitive in Africa and to emulate policies. The club is not a social club but a corporate entity. There should be no signing of players for one season,” Kofi Badu said.
He has also urged the Board to ensure that the team get their own facilities including a stadium within their three three-year mandate.
These were communicated to the nine-member Board by the Manhyia Chief of Staff Mr Kofi Badu during their inauguration today.
The Board is chaired by the Executive Chairman and astute businessman Dr. Kwame Kyei.
