Nigerians on rampage on social media over Twitter’s decision to establish headquarters in Ghana

Looks like the war between Nigerians and Ghanaians have taken a new turn following Twitter’s announcement that it has established its Africa headquarters in Ghana.

Twitter on Monday announced that it has established its Africa headquarters in Ghana.

The news was made known in a tweet by the CEO of the microblogging giant, Jack Dorsey. The move the company says is  “to truly serve the public conservation”.

For now, we may not only argue about Ghana Jollof or Nigerian Jollof, football or even the entertainment industries of both countries.

The debate has now extended to the business environment of both countries and how favorable they are to foreign investors.

For some Nigerians on twitter, considering their population and active social media users, their country was the best hub for the microblogging company to setup its first office in Africa.
