Nhyiaeso MP shows up after bench warrant for his arrest, arraigned for alleged traffic offence

The Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Stephen Amoah, has been arraigned on Thursday December 9 after he was arrested on Wednesday December 8 for alleged traffic offence.

The Police indicated in a statement that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) lawmaker presented himself to the Police to on Thursday after failing to show in court on Wednesday.

“The Police this morning, Thursday, December 9, 2021, put before the La Magistrate Court, Hon. Dr. Stephen Amoah when he presented himself to the Police after failing to appear in court yesterday, Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in which a warrant was issued for his arrest.

“Hon. Dr. Stephen Amoah, was on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, arrested together with six others for violating road traffic regulations around the Airport By-pass,” a police statement said.

The Police had earlier secure a bench warrant for his arrest.
