The leading opposition party, National Democratic Congress will launch its manifesto on Monday, 31st August 2020.
This was announced by the Communication Officer for the party, Sammy Gyamfi in a press briefing today.
“The flagbearer of the NDC has indicated that our manifesto will be launched this month. I am a member of the manifesto launch committee and it was decided that our manifesto will be launched on the 31st of August. And to those of you who are wondering whether it will be in Accra or another region, it will be in Accra.”
According to him, the Party will release a statement in the course of the week spelling out other details of the launch.
The ruling New Patriotic Party launched its manifesto over the weekend at the university of Cape Coast. Some key speakers who spoke at the event said the NDC were deliberately waiting to ‘copy’ the NPP’s policies.
