NDC receives defected NPP supporters
Meanwhile the NDC has welcomed hundreds of supporters of the NPP who have defected.
According to the defectors, the NPP prior to the 2016 elections made promises which they have failed to keep.
The defectors said the MP, Andy Appiah-Kubi campaigned on giving the constituency a major facelift and providing jobs for the youth in the community but all that has not materialised.
The General Secretary of the NDC, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah who welcomed the defectors during his visit to the constituency said the NDC does not discriminate and is always ready to welcome everybody. He further urged the defectors to join forces with the constituency executives to bring back the NDC into power.
“We do not discriminate against anybody. We are committed to bringing development to all. They should be rest assured that, we will never leave them alone, their expectations will be met in due cause,” he said
