Co-host of Adom TV’s breakfast show, Badwam, Nana Yaa Brefo has resigned from her position after 10 years with the Multimedia owned television station.
In a post on Instagram, the renowned presenter wrote: “I want to say a big THANK YOU to MultiMedia and my colleagues. Also, my fans for the support really appreciate also thank those who did not like me, you made me grow during my 10 years stay at Multimedia, (Adom TV ). I bow out of multimedia to follow other dreams. Thank You all for being there.”
Even though she did not state why she was resigning, there are speculations that her recent interview with Nana Ama McBrown for which she received a lot of backlash played a role.
Nana Yaa Brefo interviewed McBrown after the death of Bishop Bernard Nyarko and asked if she had the phone number of the late Bernard Nyarko and whether she ever called him to find out if he was in good health.
The host has since received a lot of backlash on her line of questioning. With many describing her as unprofessional.
Meanwhile following the interview, Adom TV has rendered an unqualified apology to the actress and her fans.
