Minority walk out of chamber as president arrives in parliament

The minority in Parliament earlier today walked out of parliament as president Akuffo-Addo arrived to deliver his 4th State of the nations address.

The minority had earlier threatened to boycott if government had not released funds for the MPs common fund.

The minority went out of the chamber singing ‘help us resist oppressors rule’.

Reacting to this, the majority side moved some of its members to the vacant minority seats singing songs of their own
