The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) has given the grew light for fans of Ghana Premier League sides to return to the stadiums to watch matches.
The Ministry announced this in a press release on Friday, April 16, 2021.
The statement indicated that all COVID-19 protocols are to be observed at all centres with stadiums limited to 25% capacity.
“As a result, the Ghana Football Association has been directed to put in place mechanisms to ensure that games are played in a safe environment to ensure the safety of spectators,” the release said.
The ministry’s statement also asked the GFA to sanction defaulting clubs and participants who fail to adhere to covid-19 protocols.
