Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama will on Thursday address the nation.
According to a statement signed by his campaign spokesperson, the former President will address the country at 1pm from the NDC Headquarters in Accra.
The NDC’s flagbearer is expected to address rising concerns with the ongoing electoral process which the statement stated has the tendency to “threaten to undermine Ghana’s stability and democracy.”
Both Mr Mahama and his running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, have suspended their tours of the Bono and Central Regions respectively.
This comes after reports of widespread anomalies in the Electoral Commission’s provisional voters register, which is currently on exhibition at polling stations throughout the country.
