Mahama is not capable of crafting an attractive campaign message – Political Science Lecturer

Head of the Political Sciences Department University of Education Winneba, Dr Isaac Brako has said Former President Mahama is not capable of crafting an attractive campaign message to sway electorates to vote for him in the upcoming general elections.

He was commenting on the former president’s announcement that he will maintain the teacher and nurses trainee allowances that were restored by President Akufo-Addo when he is elected.

The NDC cancelled the teacher and nurses training allowances during its administration and argued that the cancellation will ensure an increase in access to the institutions.

Dr Brako said Mahama’s U-turn decision is a sign that the former president is delirious and cannot put together a campaign message that will resonate with voters.

According to him, Mahama’s campaign message over his political career have all lacked substance.

“Mahama is lost and delirious. It is not wrong for him to say he will maintain those allowances but the problem he has is putting together a good campaign message and Slogans that sends a message about his candidacy”

“What message didn’t his ‘edey bee k3k3’ carry”? – Dr Brako asked

He has therefore urged the former President to rethink through his campaign and campaign message strictly guided by his long experience as a politician.
