Lawyer for actress and television host, Nana McBrown told an Accra High Court that her client cannot be forced to testify in a case brought against artist manager, Bulldog.
Bulldog, an artist manager is said to have said on United Television (UTV) a few months ago that, “the President will not finish his tenure and that he will run away if he failed to pay customers of Menzgold their deposits.”
He was subsequently charged with “offensive conduct, conducive to breaches of the peace,” when he appeared before the Court in January 2021 but he pleaded not guilty.
McBrown, yesterday, made an appearance at the court after being threatened with a subpoena. She had declined an earlier invitation to appear before the court according to reports.
Sources close to Ghana National Security confirmed to Cutie Julls [a gossip blog on Instagram] that Nana Ama is the prime witness to the case. And also she is facing other charges as it was on her platform that Bull Dog made those threats but the actress/presenter refused to make Bull Dog retract that statement immediately.
