I want to play for Hearts and Kotoko – Razak Tophic

King Faisal left back, Razak Tophic has disclosed he is ready to play for Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak

The talented left back told Michael Osei on Salt Fire Sports.

“I have played against Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko”

” They are the two most glamorous clubs in the Ghana premier league” he revealed

” You need to be at your best before you can face them” – he added

The young talent defender feels joining Asante Kotoko or Accra Hearts of Oak will be a step forward in his career as a player.

The Upper West Region Football Association has given the football fans on the region an opportunity to choose the best left back amongst the three premier league players who hail from the region.

Imoro Ibrahim of Asante Kotoko, Yussif Fadili of Legon City FC and King Faisal’s Razak Tophic are the three left full back players to be voted on.

The 21 year old Tophic, who had a three-year spell with Wa All Stars feels he is the best out of the three despite admitting that the all two have had a good season as well.

Regardless of the poor performance of his side, Tophic was outstanding in his maiden season at King Faisal, featuring in all the 14 games his side played before the COVID-19 break.

Razak Tophic joined king Faisal from Somalian side Elman SC, having spent a full season in the Somalian top flight.

Former England and Chelsea left back, Ashley Cole is Tophic’s role model and wishes to have a successful footballing career as Cole.
