Minister for Inner City and Zongo Development Mustapha Abdul-Hamid has appealed to all security officers taking part in the special voting exercise today, to give President Akufo-Addo and the NPP another four years to best manage the country.
Mustapha Hamid said the NPP led by President Akufo-Addo have shown that the welfare of security personnel matters to them unlike the NDC.
He explained at a press conference in Accra on Monday November 30 that the security agencies were in a mess when the Akufo-Addo administration took over from the government.
However, he said, these challenges which include peacekeeping arrears, have been addressed.
To that end, he said, all the security officers should vote for the NPP to continue the good work by Mr Akufo-Addo.
He said “The kind of state we came to meet the military, police it was terrible. They will admit they we have been able to resolve them.”
The previous government owed them peace keeping arrears but we have paid all. I want them to look at these things and vote for Akufo-Addo.”
