Over 700 individuals benefit from Ohene Kwame Frimpong’s free NHIS registration and card renewal exercise

A total of 788 individuals benefited from the free national health insurance registration and card renewal exercise funded by the Chief Executive Office of Salt Media GH, Ohene Kwame Frimpong, the National Health Insurance Authority has said.

According to a report by the Asante Akyem North District Office of the Authority, Out of the 788, 156 were new registrations with the remaining 642 being renewal of their cards.

“In all One Hundred and Fifty-Six (156) new members were registered and Six Hundred and Forty-Two(642) renewals were done.”, parts of the report read

The NHIA in its report described the exercise which took place on the 20th and 21st of April at Salt FM’s premises as successful while commending Ohene Kwame Frimpong for sponsoring it.

“Despite the challenges encountered, the exercise wassuccessful due to the support of Mr Ohene Kwame Frimpong, CEO of Salt Media GH who hosted the team and also paid for the registration fees of the 788 members.”
