EMA 2018 announces new date for nominees jam

Written by on October 25, 2018

A leading regional music awards scheme, Eastern Music Awards has on Thursday published new date for it’s annual nominees jam as part of the main award festivities for this year. Speaking to saltfmonline.com, the PRO of the scheme, Offei Wonuanie said that the decision for a new date was taken after realising that the initial date for the nominees jam coincides with this year’s Suhum Odwira Festival.

The much anticipated Eastern Music Awards 2018 (EMAs) nominees jams slated for 10th November this year have been postponed to 24th November, 2018.

“The two weeks interval has been considered prudent because many of these nominees will also celebrate the festival and will therefore need to have an ample respite period to go into the jams.” – Offei Wonuanie

The management of Hi5 Empire and the planning committee of the award at this juncture wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused; the statement said.

The second edition of the Eastern Music Awards was launched in September 2018 in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua at plush Linda Dor Plaza in Ghana.
