Coronavirus: There is no disease in Ghana; it’s a plot to stop elections – Akua Donkor alleges[Video]
The Founder and Leader of Ghana Freedom Party, Akua Donkor has alleged that there is nothing like a confirmed Corona virus case in Ghana.
The maverick female politician who admitted she believed there were cases in China and Europe attributed the causes to their bizarre taste in meat.
According to her, Chinese and Europeans are known to like snake and frog meat which have been described as highly poisonous.
‘All Ghanaians should reject assertions that there are confirmed Corona virus cases in Ghana. There is no case in Ghana’ – She said on Salt 95.9 FM
She argued that because Ghanaians do not have the same taste of meat as Chinese, it is impossible for anyone to contract the virus here in Ghana.
The 2020 presidential aspirant said since the pandemic began, government has not announced a single death of a Ghanaian in China which goes to prove her point which is ‘because Ghanaians do not take the same meat as the Chinese, we cannot get the virus.’
According to Akua Donkor, the whole ‘COVID-19 scare’ is part of a plot by the incumbent government to halt this year’s elections.
She said government is using social distancing and other safety protocols recommended by health experts to prevent the Electoral Commission from combining a new voter’s register.
Akua Donkor also accused health officials in the country of being used as puppets by the government to propagate falsehood.
According to her, because government has increased salaries of health officials by 50% and also waived taxes on those salaries, they are doing what the government wants.
She said this when she spoke to Kwesi Osei Charles aka Dr. K on the Salt Morning Show.
