Coronavirus: Ten new cases recorded in Upper East
The number of confirmed cases in the Upper East region has risen to 18 following the confirmation of ten new cases in the region.
As at Sunday, 26th April,2020, the Ghana Health service had reported there were 8 confirmed positive cases in the region.
But in a letter addressed to the Upper East Regional minister and sighted by saltfmonline.com, the regional health directorate has confirmed ten new cases.
Out of the 18 cases, five were confirmed in the Bolga Municipality.
The new cases are as a result of contact tracing from persons who contracted the virus.
