Following President Akufo-Addo’s announcement that the partial lockdown imposed on Accra and Kumasi have been lifted, Ghanaians on social media have been sharing their thoughts on the President’s move.
Some think it is a wrong move and others think it couldn’t have come at a better time.
Here are a few reaction from social media
With 1042 cases and accra has over 600 of it with the lockdown also being lifted is just a death sentence.— Ko.Joe💚 (@Yungdaddy__) April 19, 2020
Spoke with two doctor friends on how they feel about the #lockdownlifted one said “I’m worried, I even have a headache” the other “I’m gonna take a month of work so I can look after my kids, people can go out. It’s time for doctors too to stay home”— NanaKafra 🐝 (@FromP4mWithLove) April 19, 2020
I’m sad 😓🥺. Heartbreaking
30 cases and the President issued a lockdown in March. 800+ cases currently and the lockdown has been lifted now?— MaryJane (@Mayrijayne) April 20, 2020
Are the figures really what they say it is?
Anyways, I'll be making face masks since I can get back to work. Who wants some?#lockdown #LockdownGhana #lockdownlifted
