Coronavirus: Incentives for Health workers extended by three months

Health Workers will continue to receive additional incentive packages for the next three months.

This was announced by President Akufo-Addo when he addressed the country on Sunday, June 28 on efforts by government to curb the spread of the virus.

This means all health workers in the country will continue to enjoy income-tax-free salaries for the months of July, August and September.

Additionally, frontline health workers will also continue to receive 50 percent of their salary as allowances for the same period.

The President also disclosed that all issues surrounding the packages have been resolved.
