Coronavirus: Greater Accra passes 10,000 cases as confirmed positives continue to rise unsteadily

Ghana’s case count for the novel coronavirus has risen to 18,134.

A total of 13,550 persons have also recovered from the virus.

According to the Ghana Health Service in its latest update on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, five more persons have succumbed to the virus, taking the death toll to 117.

Ghana has 4,467 active cases as of July 1, 2020.

A total of 300,520 tests have so far been conducted ever since Ghana recorded its first cases in March 2020.

Regional breakdown of confirmed cases
The Greater Accra Region continues to remain at the top of the chart after crossing 10,000 cases in Wednesday’s update.
