Coronavirus: Ghana’s active case count drops significantly

Despite seeing an increase of four hundred and thirty-six (436) new positive COVID-19 cases, Ghana has seen a significant decrease in the number of active cases.

Currently, 40,533 positives have been confirmed with 37,702 recoveries leaving the country’s active cases at 2,625, the lowest so far.

According to the Ghana Health Service, the new cases came from samples that were taken between July 17 and August 4, 2020.

The death toll still stands at 206.
