Coronavirus: Ghana’s active case count drops lower

Ghana’s active cases for the novel coronavirus has now reached has now fallen to 413 as of October 1, 2020.
In its latest update, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) indicated that 30 new cases had been recorded, culminating in an overall caseload of 46,656.
However, the death toll still remains at 301.
In all 45,942 recoveries and discharges have been confirmed since COVID-19 was first imported into the West African country mid-March 2020.
Since the return to full operations at the Kotoko International Airport on September 1, the country has recorded 42 cases from international travelers.
Three persons are currently on ventilators while six cases have been declared critical.
