Coronavirus: Ghana to hit 500 recoveries in weeks ahead – Gabby Otchere-Darko

Leading member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has hinted that Ghana will see a significant rise in the number of recoveries from 99 to 500 in the coming weeks.
Mr. Otchere-Darko who is also President Akufo-Addo’s cousin made the prediction in a Facebook post after the president addressed the nation for the 7th time concerning government’s effort in the fight against the virus.
The private legal practitioner also urged the public to continue to observe all safety protocols to ensure their safety.
According to him even though the lockdown has been lifted, citizens must try to stay indoors and protect themselves at all times.
He said one of the reasons why the lockdown has been lifted is because it is hard to impose a lockdown in a developing country as compared to an advanced country.
Ghana has confirmed 1042 cases of the novel corona virus with 99 recoveries and 9 deaths.
