Coronavirus: Confirmed cases now 24,518

Ghana’s case count for the novel coronavirus has now reached 24,518 after the Ghana Health Service reported 270 new cases.

According to the service, the new cases were recorded from samples that were taken from June 17 to July 8, 2020.

20,187 persons have been treated and discharged after contracting the virus.

The death toll remained at 139.

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) also confirmed that there are currently 4,192 active cases.
