Coronavirus: Case count now 11, 964, death toll hits 54

President Akufo-Addo has disclosed that Ghana’s case count for the novel coronavirus has risen to 11,964.

The new figures comes barely 24 hours after the Ghana Health Service announced 304 new cases that took the case count to 11,422.

The President confirmed this in his 11th address to the nation on Sunday, May 14, 2020.

The President also indicated that the wearing of masks have been made mandatory to avoid a spread of the virus.
