Coronavirus: Akufo-Addo to address the nation tomorrow
President Akufo-Addo is set to address the nation on Sunday, April 19.
This address will be about the progress of the 21-day lockdown imposed on some cities as a measure of containing the coronavirus.
The President is also expected to announce if the lockdown will be extended for another period.
Although the Director of Communications at the the Jubilee House, Eugene Arhin has confirmed the address, it is uncertain what time it will take place.
This address will be President Akufo-Addo’s seventh update to the nation since Ghana recorded its first coronavirus case.
Ghana has so far confirmed 834 positive cases with 9 deaths and 99 recoveries.
