Astute businessman and CEO of Asadu Group of Companies, Dr Edward Asadu has called on all wealthy individuals within the Asante Akyem North municipality to help fix the roads in the area.
In an interview with Salt FM reporters, he said most roads in the municipality have deteriorated and can cause accidents.
He cited the stretch between Agogo Zongo and Agogo Awoyo as an example of the bad nature of roads within the municipality. According to him he witnessed six different accidents on that stretch in a day, a situation he has taken action to change.
The waste management guru revealed that he has hired a road grader at a cost of GHC 3,500 to grade, level and fix the roads at the Agogo Awoyo area.
He accused the member of parliament and the Municipal Chief Executive of the area of not showing concern and taking actions to fix the roads.
Mr Asadu has however called on wealthy individuals within the municipality to follow suit in order to prevent accidents that may occur as a result of the bad roads. He urged residents not to rely on the MP and MCE to resolve the issue since they have not shown any interest.
