Coronavirus: 5 new deaths take death toll to 16

The Ghana Health Service has confirmed 5 new deaths taking the death toll to 16.

This was confirmed by the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr. Patrick Aboagye.

Ghana’s cases count for COVID-19 has also risen to 1,671 with additional increase in the number of recovered persons from 155 to 188.

“Ghana currently has 1,671 cases confirmed as at this morning. Out of this, 568 came from general surveillance – those who fell ill, approached the hospital and were tested,” Mr. Aboagye said.
