Coronavirus: 10 food vendors, 3 taxi drivers test positive at Achimota Hospital

Reports reaching this website indicate ten food vendors and three taxi drivers who operate at the Achimota government hospital have tested positive for the novel Corona virus.

These cases were confirmed following a mass testing exercise by hospital authorities on persons in the hospital community.

Samples were taken to the Noguchi memorial centre after which the results indicated they had tested positive for the virus.

Staff of the hospital are currently undergoing mandatory tests to ascertain the extent of the spread in the hospital community.

Ghana has so far recorded 1,550 cases with 155 recoveries and 11 deaths.
