President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has accepted the resignation of Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah as Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry.
Carlos Ahenkorah tendered in his resignation on Friday, 3rd July 2020, to the President following his admission of breaching COVID-19 protocols for persons who have contracted the virus.
Hon. Ahenkorah in an interview on Thursday, July 2 admitted to visiting registration centres despite testing positive for the virus.
A statement from the Presidency signed by the Director of Communications, Eugene Arhin said President Akufo-Addo has accepted the resignation from office of the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah with immediate effect.
