Breaking: Manhyia Palace name Nine-member Kotoko Board
Manhyia Palace has named a new management Board to steer affairs of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently undergoing restructuring at all departments of the club ahead of a possible resumption of the league.
The announcement was made in a statement by the Club’s owner His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on Thursday afternoon.
The decision to form a board to steer affairs of the Ghanaian giants comes as the club seeks to meet the demands of the Club Licensing Board of the Ghana Football Association.
Members of the board of directors were under the recommendation of the three-member committee chaired by KNUST lecturer Prof. Lydia Nkansah.
Executive Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei will continue to chair the nine-member Board of Directors.
Other members are Jude Arthur who serve as the vice Chairman, Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi, Kwesi Osei Ofori, Alhaji Lamin, Lawyer Kwamena Mensah, Joseph Yaw Adu, Mrs. Evelyn Nsiah Asare and Baafour Kwame Kusi
