Agogo: NDC MP Aspirant donates to Muslim communities

The NDC aspiring Member of Parliament in the Asante- Akyem North constituency, Alhaji Sulley Adam’s Yussif has donated some food items to the Muslim community in the Constituency.

Accompanied by the Constituency Chairman, Ibrahim Siedu and some constituency executives, the team went round Muslim communities in Dome, Juansa and Agogo Zongo to make the donations.

He donated hundreds of bags of rice, cartons of cooking oil and boxes of sardines.

Speaking on the sidelines of the donation with Salt FM’s Mayor 1, Alhaji Sulley Adam said as a Muslim he understands the importance of the holy month of Ramadan and the challenges some families face to fend for themselves during the celebrations after the fast.

“I am a Muslim and I know the significance of Ramadan. Raised in the zongo community, I know how difficult it is for families especially the aged after the fast.”

“So we had an executive meeting and decided to do the donations so that no struggling family will be left out of the EID festivities.’ He added
