AFCON Q: Samuel Owusu likely to miss Ghana, Sudan clash

The Blackstars of Ghana will today take on Sudan in the AFCON 2021 qualifier to be played at the Cape Coast stadium.

Reports reaching Salt Fire Sports indicate that the Blackstars are likely to miss the services of Al Ahli striker, Samuel Kwame Owusu after he suffered an injury during the Black Stars second training session at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

The Blackstar will travel to Sudan for a reverse fixture in five days.

The Blackstars played two friendlies last month in preparation for the Qualifiers. The Stars lost to Mali and convincingly beat Qatar in the second friendly.

Goalkeepers: Richard Ofori, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Razak Abalora.

Defenders: John Boye, Baba Abdul Rahman, Kwadwo Amoako, Christopher Nettey, Alexander Djiku, Joseph Aidoo, Joseph Attamah, Nicholas Opoku.

Midfielders: Emmanuel Lomotey, Afriyie Acquah, Clifford Aboagye.

Strikers/Forwards: Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew, Tariqe Fosu, Samuel Owusu, Caleb Ekuban, John Antwi.
