AFCON Q: CK Akonnor names 23-man squad for Sudan doubleheader

Black Stars Head Coach, CK Akonnor has named his squad list to face Sudan in the upcoming AFCON qualifying doubleheader.

The squad, 23 in total are set to feature in what will be Coach Akonnor’s first competitive assignment following his appointment early this year.

The Blackstars played two friendlies in October losing to Mali and winning against Qatar in what was a warm-up for their upcoming qualifiers.

The squad sees the return of several well-known players to the setup as the Coach opts for a fine blend of youth and experience.

Ghana will be hosting Sudan at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on November 12 and then play the reverse fixture on November 17 in Omdurman.
