‘Abeiku’ Hitmaker, Nana Tuffour has died

Salt 95.9 FM has gathered Nana Tuffour, the Highlife legend has died.

His death was confirmed to Andy Dosty, Host of Daybreak Hitz on Accra based Hitz FM by a close person to the musician.

Perhaps James Nana Tuffour’s birth on Valentine’s Day in 1954 was his secret rise to stardom.

Popularly known as 99 24 the renowned highlife singer/songwriter rose to fame in an era when intelligence scored substantially more points than good looks.

The ‘Abeiku’ hitmaker spent his childhood in Kumasi.
